Jack & Jill Bicycle Event
Medford, Mass.
Youngsters and parents in the Newton chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc., took a bike ride on the Minuteman Bikeway, starting in Arlington, Mass., and then enjoyed fellowship and a presentation on Major Taylor at a member's home nearby. The Major Taylor Association raffled off a Major Taylor poster. Jack & Jill is a nationwide nonprofit family organization that provides cultural, social, civic and recreational activities and historically has focused on enriching the lives of African-American children.
