The choirs of Worcester's black churches presented their
annual gospel concert, sponsored by the Worcester Branch NAACP
and Allmerica Financial Corp.
Proceeds benefited the Major Taylor Association, Inc.; the HEART
after-school program of Emmanuel Baptist Church and Temple Sinai; and the Rachel's
Table food pantry. The NAACP presented its Community Service,
George S. Smith Tribute, and Vision awards.Ads are sold in a program book
