The Annapolis Bicycle Club and Bicycle Advocates for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County hosted an illustrated talk about the remarkable life of 1899 world cycling champion Major Taylor on and off the racetracks of the world at the turn of the 20th century, and how the legacy of this African American pioneer is shaping cycling and our cities today. Special thanks go to Carl Adolph, a BikeAAA board member and co-founder of Maryland-based Velo City Riders, who conducted the virtual interview of Major Tayor Association president Lynne Tolman.
