 More than 400 cyclists rode 5, 17, 33, 53, 65, 102 or 126 miles over scenic Alabama roads on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, in the Glassner Autumn Challenge, a recreational ride put on by the Montgomery Bicycle Club, complete with food, support, and entertainment at the start/finish at the ASU football stadium. It's not a race. Rider packets included information about Major Taylor, and a contingent from Major Taylor Cycling Club of Alabama did the ride. Proceeds went toward Alabama State University's effort to be designated a Bicycle Friendly University. See photos here and here.
