The Major Taylor exhibit was a major attraction at the third annual Bike Week benefit
at Redbones, co-sponsored by Tremont Brewery and co-hosted by The Ride magazine. Hundreds of bike
people of all kinds enjoyed warm weather, tasty barbecue and ale, valet bicycle parking and excitement
about all the great things happening on two wheels. Proceeds benefited the Somerville Community Youth
Program and the New England Mountain Bike Association, and many guests also contributed to the Major
Taylor statue fund.
