Thousands of people biked, ran or walked in a monthlong virtual event called 1 Million Miles for Justice, presented by the Civil Rights Race Series (though it was not a race). Nearly $189,000 was donated to the NAACP, while the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis and Black Girls Do Bike each received $15,140.
