The Scotch Plains Public Library in New Jersey hosted an illustrated Zoom talk about the remarkable life of 1899 world cycling champion Major Taylor on and off the racetracks of the world at the turn of the 20th century, and how the legacy of this African American pioneer is shaping cycling and our cities today. Presented by Major Tayor Association president Lynne Tolman and board member Gina Bullock, who is a past president of the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey, the program spotlighted Major Taylor's races and remembrances in New Jersey.
